England calls for 15 Academy players

Manchester Storm Academy is delighted and extremely proud that 15 players will be representing the club at England training camps next month.

The players were selected following trials earlier in the season and have made it through to the next stage of the England programme.

There are seven members of our U13s team in the
U13s Boys squad.

Connor Lee
Joshua Milnes
Josh Crawley

Eight of our U16 girls squad have been invited to their respective camps. The following six girls will join up with the U13s girls team.

Kara Pienaar-Dyke
Kate Taylor
Evie-Mae Tindale

Meanwhile Madison Troup and Inez Brannan wil play with the U16s Girls.

Chairman Seth Bennett said: "It is a great achievement for all of the players and their families, who have all put a lot of time and energy into helping their kids reach this level.

“For the Academy it shows that we are starting to see our players really show that they are amongst the best around and the coaches deserve a huge pat on the back for the way they continue to focus on player development.

Bennett added. "Some of the girls only recently joined us and still play mixed hockey at other clubs, but we take great pride in their achievements to. It is brilliant. Congratulations to all the players, go out and show the coaches what you are all capable of. "
