This is public notice that Manchester Storm Academy will hold it’s first virtual AGM on Saturday 4th July at 0930am. It will be conducted on Zoom and all members are invited to join us to have a say in how the club is run in future.

Details of who is standing for the directors positions and more information about them will be sent out to members in the coming week.

Just a reminder every club member has one vote, if you have two kids in the club you have one vote per player.

You will be asked to vote on accepting the new constitution of the club, and then you will be asked vote for 7 directors from the candidates. The 7 candidates with the most votes will be elected and appointed as the board of limited company board. From that groups the positions like, chairman, club secretary etc will be appointed.

For more details of how the board, the committee and head coach(es) will work together will be included in the constitution.

Confirmation of how you will be able to vote in advance of the AGM, or how you can nominate the chair, Seth Bennett to cast your vote by proxy will be sent out by June 30th.

All reports from the meeting will be sent out prior to the AGM for you to review and form any questions you may have.

This is new territory for us as a club and so we are working towards holding and AGM that will give all members the chance to have a say in how and who will run the club in future, to ensure the Storm Academy will continue to go from strength to strength in the future.
